现行的留学生落户上海政策，分两部分，一部分基座是于2020年11月30号颁布，有效期为2020/12/1-2025/11/30。另一部分补充政策，就是2022年6月，上海市政府发布的《助力复工复产实施人才特殊支持举措》，新政更偏向吸引留学生，补充政策大幅降低优秀留学生落户门槛。
其实从2024年开始，从全国各地不少省市的公务员选调就已经开始“拒绝”留学生了。
